Keep everything in sync

When a contact texts your number, Textline opens a note and can attach it to a lead, contact, or deal (depending on configuration). Both tools will remain in sync as the conversation progresses. The contact's Zendesk details are then automatically added to your Textline address book when you converse with them. You can also use Textline natively from Zendesk. Initiate and respond to text messages using the top bar or sidebar widgets.

How to install

  • Sign in or sign up for a Textline account at [textline.com](https://textline.com?utm_source=zendesksell). (You must have administrator permissions in both Textline and Zendesk Sell to set up the integration.)
  • In Textline, visit [Settings > Tools & Integrations] (https://application.textline.com/organization/integrations) and click the Zendesk Sell logo.
  • Click connect.
  • A page to Zendesk Sell will open. If not already signed in, enter your credentials and log in. You may need to click on the “Sign in with Zendesk” button if you created your Sell account after January 2020.
  • Once logged in, click to approve and connect Zendesk Sell with Textline.
  • Now inbound texts will create notes associated with leads or contacts  in Zendesk Sell. (Notes are tagged with textline). You can also change the integration to create notes that are associated with deals instead.
  • Click the install button in the Zendesk Marketplace to add a top bar Textline widget and a sidebar app that reveals Textline conversations that correspond to the currently visible Zendesk Sell deal.
